Orquestra Vermelha Visual Identity

The Orquestra Vermelha (”Red Orchestra”) is an audiovisual project by musician and developer Matheus Leston. In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the project and the commemorative show that took place at SESC Avenida Paulista, Matheus invited us to develop the visual identity of the Orquestra Vermelha, looking at everything that has been built so far and the future potential that lies ahead for the group.
"The Orquestra Vermelha is about contradictions."
Using the concept described by Matheus himself, we developed a visual identity that centers on opposites: basic geometric shapes that blend with organic silhouettes filled with details, figures that become backgrounds and backgrounds that become figures. By overlapping these contradictory elements, we created an identity full of unlikely compositions, of low and high complexity, where abstract and figurative elements blend and take on new meanings.
